NEWS FROM THE DEN…

 

Cougars’ Den is now in its third session!  There are still openings in many of our programs.  Check the list in the cafeteria if you are interested in signing up.  You may also visit Mrs. M. in Room 204B.  Chris Hougaard is planning some outdoor fun for Connections on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Only those who are properly dressed will be able to go outside.  If there is ice, we’ll skate.  If there is snow, we’ll snowshoe, slide, or build snow forts!

 

Our 2^nd Annual Joey Doyle Basketball Tournament was held on December 20^th. 

Winners of the tournament were Tyler Moore, Alyssa Jasak, Marshall Bean, Justin

Draper-Langevin, Drew Koczur, Jordan Orszulak, and Ethan Mancini.  This winning

team was coached by Alyssa and Shannon Trybus of Palmer High School.  Half time

 entertainment included our cheerleaders, coached by Miss Sarah Manley, and our

Gotta Dance Troupe.  School Store staff was on hand to open their shop and a

concession stand. We want to thank our coaches:  Ms. Sandy Noonan, Mr. Chris Hougaard, Mr. Rich Clark, and Mr. Robert Connolly of Pathfinder High School.  We owe special thanks to the Committee members who planned the event: Mikey Callahan, Adam Cole, Emily Czaja, Dylan Dyer, Joe Gazaille, Andrew Randall, Kayne Sheldon, Kyle Smith, Thomas Sparling, and Josh Wood.  Everyone had a great time at our end-of-session event!
