Text Box: Dear Parents/Guardians, The receipt of this newsletter in the second report card indicates that the 2006—2007 school year is half over. Students are actively engaged in learning, and the academic material is becoming increasingly more challenging. We continue to prepare for MCAS testing which will begin during the week of March 19th (see p. 2 for MCAS Dates). We encourage you to contact your child’s teacher(s) or us if you have any concerns about your child’s academic progress. We remind you that the teachers are available for extra help on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Please refer to the extra help schedule in this newsletter (p. 3) for assigned extra help days. District Students of the Month

Dr. Fournier, Supt. of Schools, and CMS are proud to introduce the initial District Students of the Month.  This new award initiated by Dr. Fournier is designed to honor one student a month from each of Palmer’s three schools.

 

CMS’s December recipient was Nicole Prosperi, a 7th grader at CMS.  Nicole is the daughter of Larry & Susan Prosperi of Three Rivers.

 

CMS’s January recipient is 7th grader David Smith.  David is the son of Matthew & Eileen Smith of Palmer.
