The primary function of the Guidance staff is to help
the student plan for the future and survive the present. Counselors
are available to assist students to understand themselves so that
educational and vocational planning will be based upon sound information.
The Guidance office is the place where students can go and talk about
themselves.
The Guidance Service can help students become more
aware of their special interests and abilities and can assist in
matching these abilities with various occupations.
The Guidance Department is constantly evolving and
adapting to keep pace with current changes in the academic world
in order to assist students. Guidance personnel
are familiar with academic testing such as the PSAT, SAT, and MCAS
and are available to assist students with being successfull at taking
these tests.
